Cellulite Treatments

If you have cellulite and are seeking improvement, then you likely hate those dimples with a passion.  This is very common for women and unfortunately very difficult to treat.  Surely you have tried many creams and treatments to reduce the signs of cellulite only to get minimal results.  While there is no silver bullet here to rid yourself of cellulite 100%, there are options that should be able to improve your situation.  At MyShape Lipo, we have a surgical option and a non-surgical option.  Both are good options and will help significantly.

Choosing the right option:  Surgical Vs Non-Surgical

Surgical:

Process:  The Laser Cellulite treatment is a surgical procedure done in our office.  The area to be treated will be marked, then numbing fluid will be injected into the area we are treating.  Once the area has been sufficiently numbed, the laser instrument will be passed under the skin.  The laser is used to melt the fat and tighten the skin.  The instrument is also used to release the “Septa” which are the fibrous bands under the skin that cause the dimples.  This addresses the cellulite at it’s cause.

Treatments required:  one treatment required

Cellulite:  This treatment is best for treating bigger dimples that are localized to a specific area.  This treatment treats the underlying cause of cellulite by releasing the tissue causing the dimples.

Longevity:  The laser treatment is a one time treatment and the results will continue to improve for about 6 months after the procedure.  The results are thought to be permanent, although with aging, changes are still possible.

Cost:  $1500 per area when done alone.  $1000 per area when done with liposuction.

Non-Surgical

Process:  Non-surgical treatment of cellulite is done with the body spa.  This is a hand held unit that is used in the privacy of your own home.  The treatments take 5 minutes per area and consist of massaging gel in the treted area with the use of a hand held unit that emits a galvanic current to increase absorption.  These treatments should be done at least 3 times per week.

Treatments required:  This is an ongoing treatment that takes 5 minutes per area and should be done 3 times per week for optimal results.  The results are cumulative.

Cellulite:  This type of treatment is best used with smaller dimples that span over a larger areas.

Longevity:  The body spa is a treatment done over time and requires maintenance treatments as needed.

Cost:  $450 plus tax and shipping.
